Community Service
NYS LECET regularly joins with local unions and contractors to help community, charitable and educational institutions that have supported our union and contractors. For example, we have supported community youth programs, such as Pop Warner football; the Capitol Holiday Lights in the Park in Albany to benefit the Police Athletic League; scholarship programs at colleges and universities, including Oswego, Hofstra, Cornell and Alfred State; athletic events, like Utica's Boilermaker 15-K road race; a voter registration Web site program in Rochester; and a Golf Fundraiser in Saratoga.
