Stepping Up For Frontline Workers

Taking care of your mental health is always important—now more than ever. It was our absolute privilege to deliver lunch to the incredible St. Vincent’s Hospital Westchester staff on the front lines doing this imperative work. We appreciate you!

“On behalf of the staff of St. Vincent’s, we thank the Labor Assistance Professionals, LIUNA Local 60, Sandhogs Local 147, the NYS Laborers Tri-Funds and New York State Laborers’ Organizing Fund for providing delicious lunches for our staff, said Bernadette Kingham-Bez, Executive Director of St. Vincent’s Hospital Westchester, a Division of Saint Joseph’s Medical Center. “We are so appreciative of the community’s support of our work addressing the needs of people with mental health and addiction issues during this challenging time.”

When the Albany South End Children’s Cafe put out an emergency call for donations, our union did what our union does—STEPPED UP! Laborers Local 190 staff and Tri-Funds staff delivered food, cleaning supplies and hygiene products—and a few smiles with the truck! Thank you South End Children’s Cafe for all you do for our community!
